Liquid Blue Events – Staffing App

Section 1. Who We Are

Liquid Blue Events (“LBE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an event production company headquartered in Nevada. We operate the LBE Staff mobile application (“App”) to manage event staffing, scheduling, timesheets, and payments for our staff members and administrators.

Section 2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Account Information

  • Full name, email address, and phone number

  • Profile photo (optional)

  • Account credentials (passwords are stored in encrypted form only)

Employment & Staffing Information

  • Event applications, assigned roles, and scheduled hours

  • Timesheet records, hour adjustment requests, and approval history

  • Performance and attendance history

Payment Information

  • Venmo username or Zelle-registered phone number/email

  • Payment history and amounts

  • We do not collect or store credit card, bank account, or SSN data

Contact & Emergency Information

  • Home address (optional)

  • Emergency contact name and phone number

Technical Information

  • Device type and operating system version

  • App crash logs and error reports (for troubleshooting only)

  • Push notification token (for delivering event and payment notifications)

We do NOT collect: precise or general location data, browsing or search history, contacts or address book data, advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), biometric identifiers beyond on-device Face ID/Touch ID, or any financial account numbers, credit card numbers, or SSNs.

Section 3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate the LBE Staff platform:

  • To create and manage your staff account

  • To match you with events based on your availability and role history

  • To schedule and confirm your shifts and hours

  • To process and record payments via Venmo or Zelle

  • To send you push notifications about events, applications, and payments

  • To allow administrators to review timesheets and adjustment requests

  • To generate staffing reports and labor cost summaries for internal use

  • To respond to account deletion and data requests

  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations

We do not use your information for advertising, third-party marketing, or any purpose unrelated to event staffing operations.

Section 4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Within LBE

Administrators within Liquid Blue Events can view your profile, application history, scheduled hours, and payment status as required to manage events.

Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., cloud hosting, push notification delivery). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

Payment Platforms

When you connect your Venmo or Zelle account, your username or contact information is used by LBE administrators to initiate payment. We do not have access to your Venmo or Zelle account beyond the handle or contact info you provide.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of LBE, our staff, or others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, your personal information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will provide notice via the App or email before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy. You may request deletion of your data prior to any such transfer by contacting us at jess@liquidblueevents.com. 

Section 5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

  • Active account data is retained for the duration of your relationship with LBE

  • Payroll and timesheet records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with labor recordkeeping requirements

  • If you request account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law

Section 6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)

  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

  • Objection: Object to certain types of processing

Nevada residents: 

Under Nevada law, you have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

California residents: 

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights. Please contact us for more information.

Section 7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS)

  • Encrypted password storage (hashed, never stored in plain text)

  • Role-based access controls — staff can only see their own data; admins can only see data for events they manage

  • Optional biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) to lock app access on your device

  • Firebase security rules restricting database access by authenticated user role

No Cross-App Tracking: The LBE Staff app does not track your activity across other apps or websites owned by third parties, and does not share your data with data brokers, advertising networks, or analytics companies for tracking purposes.

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to enable biometric lock on your device.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Section 8. Push Notifications

The LBE Staff app uses push notifications to keep you informed about:

  • Event application status updates

  • Assigned shifts and schedule changes

  • Timesheet approvals and hour adjustment decisions

  • Payment processing confirmations

  • Administrative announcements

You can manage notification preferences in Profile → Settings → Notifications. You may also disable notifications entirely through your device’s Settings app. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the app, but you may miss time-sensitive updates.

Section 9. Minors

The LBE Staff app is intended for use by individuals 13 years of age and older. Users under 18 must have verifiable parental or legal guardian consent, obtained by the parent or guardian contacting LBE directly in writing at jess@liquidblueevents.com prior to account creation. LBE reserves the right to terminate any account where consent cannot be verified. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without consent, we will delete it promptly.

Section 10. Third-Party Services

The LBE Staff app is built on Firebase (Google LLC), which provides authentication, database, and cloud storage infrastructure. Your use of the app is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

The app may include links to third-party websites (e.g., Venmo, Zelle, the LBE website). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

Section 11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify you through the app or by email.

Your continued use of the LBE Staff app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
